To be very honest, when debuting a new product, it can make us feel very naked and exposed. We are completely vulnerable to anything we may not have though of in our research and development process. There is an anxious feeling to see how everyone will respond, and how they feel about the product once they receive it. We want it all to be perfect all the time, but at some point, you just have to start with your best foot forward. There is always more to learn, and adjustments can always be made if the feedback asks for that.

After four years, wire binding is finally an option. Many hints have been dropped over the years for that traditional product option so it is here and will be around for a good while. That is our hope. Keeping up with our recently shaved down selections, we have started with a small set of color options. We wanted to keep it more on the neutral side so that we didn't bite off more than we can chew. Book cloth is an investment for us and we wanted to make sure there could be something available for everyone.

At the same time, we can't help but add some fun color options into it, and as of this writing, we will be offering two more warm colors very soon. The hold up is trying to figure out how to place them into a collection, and how to make them fit in with the others. It feels like they really need to be a special offering with a specialized interior because the cloth itself is so different.

Could be overthinking it, too, which wouldn't be out of character!
