Hemp Binding Classic Journal

Like burning wood, a certain smell in the air at that exact time of day, or a chime as the door opens at the local general store, the fabrics on our "Classic" line will remind you of past times, of your version of home.

This is our original journal style, handmade with fabrics that will feel timeless.

The binding style along with the blank pages make it naturally ambidextrous. There isn't an obvious front or back, and it can be used in landscape and portrait mode. There is no wrong way to express your thoughts and ideas with this unique stationery item.

Made using the ancient stab binding method, each comes with 35 sheets (70 pages) of white, unlined 80lb heavyweight drawing paper. Fabrics are cotton or cotton-linen blend. Choose from beautifully textured solids, classic stripes and plaids, or traditional East Asian designs.

Your made to order custom notebook will be made with the fabric color and in the size of your choosing. Additional images are for reference only of sizing, and additional features. Arrives within two weeks. 

Available in two sizes:
Medium: 8.75 x 5.5 in or 22.2 x 14cm
Large: 8 x 11 in or 20.32 x 27.94 cm

Materials:
Outer: Chipboard, Fabric, Hemp cord
Inner: Tan card stock with ‘Artisaan’ stamped inside on one cover
Paper: Unlined heavyweight 80lb drawing paper. Each book comes with 35 sheets (70 pages)
